COVID-19 Protection Update

During the current Covid-19 situation, we believe that staying at Chalet 345 is a great option:

  • Given its isolated location, at the end of a private road with no shared facilities, but yet only minute’s walk from all that Les Gets has to offer;
  • As a flexible catered or self-catered option, can you determine who and when has access to the chalet during your stay;
  • A turnaround team that specialises in cleaning and owns their own cleaning and laundry company.

Enhanced Cleaning

We have a dedicated in resort professional cleaning and turn around term who are ensuring that Chalet 345 is prepared for your stay. They have implemented a plan for very high cleaning standards. Unlike other companies, we do not charge extra for this
deep cleaning option. Your cost is an all-in cost with no hidden extras.

Please see here to get the most up to date information on cleaning procedures, with specific reference to Covid-19.  In order to ensure that we are ready for all our guests on time, we do ask you to help us at the end of your stay with linen, rubbish, and leaving the chalet tidy.  You will find these details in your client cleaning contract

Enhanced Travel Policy

Please refer to our terms and conditions.  In addition to this, we request that clients ensure they take out travel insurance at the time of booking.

Illness

If you or any of your group become ill with any Covid-19 symptoms prior to your arrival it is your responsibility not to travel.

If you or any member of your group become ill during your holiday and you are required to self isolate and request to extend your booking you will be obliged to pay for the extended booking required at the full market rate on a per week basis or, if availability is not possible, you are required to find your own alternative accommodation.

Early Departure

Once you have checked into your holiday property if you or any member of your group has to leave early including personal reasons, illness, resort closure, government guidelines or any other reason not listed here, unused nights are non-refundable.

It is a term of your booking that you have adequate travel insurance which, amongst other things, provides cover in relation to the non-refundable elements outlined above, including having to cancel your holiday due to positive tests or illness prior to departure.

What we ask of you:

A. EXTRA PRECAUTIONS:

Amended changeover hours
Our normal changeover cleans are already rigorous. At this stage, we are trying to maintain our normal change over hours of 4pm arrival and 10am departure to ensure our housekeepers have plenty of time to be extra vigilant. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of the housekeeping teams and adhere to these arrival/departure times.

Please note, whilst every effort has been made to ensure the best hygiene standards in pre-visit cleans, guests visit at their own risk.

Pared-back furnishings
As much as we love to adorn our beautiful chalet with additional touches such as throws and scatter cushions, it is with great regret that we have to remove these items for the time being. This may also include lifestyle magazines, books, DVDs
and toys.

A subtle welcome
Usually, we love to leave a welcome hamper for your arrival. However, you may find that the number of items in the welcome hamper has been reduced given the current circumstances.

B. USEFUL TIPS ON HOW TO PREPARE BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

Be mindful before you travel
If you or any member of your party start to develop symptoms of Covid-19 before your holiday, it is vital that you follow your governments guidance and consult your insurance policy.

Catering
Some of our wonderful caterers will be able to deliver prepared food directly to Chalet 345. You just serve! This is a great alternative if you want to take the hassle out of food preparation but still want to keep your distance. Contact us directly for more details.

C. DURING YOUR STAY

Talk to us
Please let us know as soon as possible if you develop symptoms of Covid-19, at any point during your stay – we are here to help. If any member of the party develops Covid-19 infection symptoms, they must take a test in accordance with government
guidelines and if the test is positive, the guest needs to return home as soon as possible to isolate, the guest cannot self isolate at the property.

Linen care
You may find a linen and towel bag left for your use by the housekeeping team, so that you can bag these items at the end of your stay. We appreciate this isn’t the norm, but during such exceptional times this will ensure the safety of our housekeepers and guests.

If a mid-stay linen change has been arranged, you may find the housekeeper would prefer to leave clean linen and towels at the door of the property, and take away the bagged, utilised linen, rather than entering the property.

Social distancing
We are thrilled to welcome you for your holiday at Chalet 345 and we hope you have a wonderful time; we would just kindly ask you to be mindful of the current social distancing guidelines during your stay and when exploring the local area.

Please do let us know if you have any questions at all. Most importantly, we hope you have a truly magical stay with us! Let the countdown begin…

Please call us to help you plan your stay at Chalet 345. We are here to help you.
